hells_half_acreI'm going up to the cottage today, staying over, working on "the project" for my Dad. I love our cottage, but I don't necessarily like staying there alone, though, I have done it for extended periods of time before. It's mainly the mice that bug me, so hopefully there won't be any. Whoever came up with the expression "quiet as a mouse" obviously wasn't trying to sleep with some in the house. Sometimes I think I hear them here at my mum's, but it might just be my imagination, or the dog being weird.
I still don't know what the hell I'm doing. I have to email the research contract people to see if they can at least give me a time frame. The feds are super annoying if they still haven't decided on this contract. I just want to know if I should be looking into a working visa for Germany. It's basically my backup plan now. Teaching English is not ideal, but then, nothing is ideal anymore. I've been unemployed too long.
In the meantime though, things are alright. I've got a trip planned to Toronto at the end of the month. It seems people still like me in the world and want me to visit them. I think, if I could just find enough money to pay my student loans, plus a little extra for food and plane tickets, I could probably live for a good long time just traveling the world visiting my friends.
