Like, you, I did not think anything of Dr. Franklin interrupting John's interrogation of Henry's therapist but I was quite suspicious of Sherlock feeding coffee (with sugar) to John.
See, I think this is where my obsessive reading of fanfic did me a disservice. I'm so used to seeing the "Sherlock makes John tea as an apology" trope, that I really did just think it was an apology. :P
This does not sound promising and the last think I would do is unleash such an individual on the world much less my brother.
