I'm thinking no. Adam could be possessed because he was related to JOHN, and anyone related to Mary could be possessed by Lucifer.
Which would, indeed, mean that Nick was somehow related to the Campbells. (If we're assuming the bloodline is the Campbells, and not Mary's mother.) Perhaps Nick was a 3rd/4th/5th cousin who was actually a rare non-hunter, and therefore more likely to be tricked by Lucifer?
It would have to make sense - if it has to do with bloodlines, then Nick would HAVE to, in someway, share Sam's bloodline.
