Yeah, I was cringing that whole time and watching through my fingers - *shudders*
I think Sam and Dean DID know that he was a Leviathan when he bled black ooze - I thought the "I guess we should find out" comment was more of a "we need to find out how these things work so that we can kill him" - though, hey, maybe I'll be proven wrong in the next episode and they'll be surprised it's a leviathan or something. :P
Well, they don't know how to kill him, so he'll at least be in the next episode!!
I'm really interested to see where the story line with the drinking is going! :)
