Yeah, I love h/c except for when it comes to rape - to me, rape is too horrible to be fodder for h/c fics. Maybe because, to me, there's no comfort for it, it's just all hurt and horribleness and you can't just hug it better (no matter what some fic-writers seem to believe).
but now I'm feeling paranoid that my, "well, it's just because I don't like h/c" discomfort made me blind to a nastier side that may have been present in some of those comments.
Yeah, I had the reverse problem with those h/c folks who were fistpumping because of confirmed headcanon - I was trying to decide if I was being hyper-sensitive because a)it's a sensitive issue for me, and b)I can't read rape fics at all.
