I couldn't understand why the boy in the beginning brought his girlfriend to a cornfield. You would think that living in the country, they would know that cornfields are not a romantic! There are HUGE spiders and lots of other bugs everywhere, and if you get silk anywhere, it itches. Also, there are plenty of racoons, mice and skunks roaming the stalks. Definitely not a spot for making out.
I love that we see fairies. I knew as soon as the guy in the red cap appeared that Dean was in trouble, but I'm a big fairy tale/retold fairy tales fan, and I'd encountered them before. A lot of people had no idea that it was anything other than a homeless guy wearing a red hat.
I love all the quotes you picked out...they're my favorites too! And I think I'm going to have to pull out the DVDs and watch the commentaries now...
