I came over from a rec by elsewhere_kels, and this is just fantastic. I'm a sucker for little domestic stories like this in which one of the boys gets glued back together (and the other one gets glued back together as a direct result of that too).
It's too much to hope that we'll get anything remotely like this on the show, so I am so very glad you chose to write this, and in such a beautiful fashion, too.
I loved Dean's quiet optimism here, that stubborn Winchester streak that always seems to come through in a pinch. You handled what is essentially very difficult subject matter (having a family member completely incapacitated and dependent on another) with sensitivity and a touch of very sweet humour.
In short, this was lovely. :)
