I DID fall in love with the show through Dean - ironically, it wasn't really until S4 that I fell in love with Sam. He had to mess up and be horribly flawed in order for me to love him just as much as Dean. But even before S4, I loved him because Dean loved him and because he loved Dean.
And I like the fact that Misha gave his kid Anaximander as a middle name...but then, this is coming from a girl whose parents named her Alix - not short for anything, just Alix.
