April Ficlet: Unfortunate Timing (UnfortunateBrother'verse)

Took way too long with this one today - I should not have chosen such an ambitious scene to write. After brainstorming for a half-an-hour though, it was the only thing I could come up with. Then I took two hours to write it. So yeah.... not entirely happy with it, but I really can't afford to spend more time on it and I have to post something today... so, here we go...
