I'll admit my bias right off the bat with this one...

yalumesse was inspired by my timeline (specifically the post I made on Dean's birthday) to write a Dean-centric fic. Basically, it's Dean as seen through his birthdays. It's REALLY well done. They're not chronological, but it works better that way, as different birthdays mirror or contrast each other. Also, she used chronological time!
The fic is both heartbreaking and heartwarming, just like the character and the show.
