Meme: Questions and Answers

I woke up to discover that I'd been tagged by mymuseandi in a meme. So, here goes...
1. People who have been tagged write the answers on their blog and replace any question they dislike with a new, original question.
2. Tag eight people. Don't tag who tagged you. (As a rule, I don't tend to tag people...)
1. Make a list of 5 things that you see without getting up.
Cup, little notebook for keeping track of finances, my laptop, mouse pad, and the new Hey Rosetta CD.
2. How do you style your hair?
If I'm going out, I always wash it and leave it down. If I'm not going out, I put it in a bun and clip it away from my face.
3. What are you wearing now?
These AWESOME sports pants that I use as PJs (seriously, the most comfortable pants I've ever owned), a large/tall man's army green plaid shirt (also used as PJs), a black bra (which is also awesomely comfortable), socks and underwear.
4. What do you hear right now?
Rain on the skylight above me, my computer...traffic outside...usually I'd hear birds, but not when it's raining.
5. What is/was for dinner?
Last night I had muttar paneer and naan. Tonight...I'll cross that bridge when I come to it.
6. What did/are you do/ing today?
I'm going to go make an abacus bracelet with my knitting group (I'm a bad-ass). I also have to clean my room, work on two SuperWiki pages, and possibly start writing something. We'll see about that last thing though, I might read Zombicorns by John Green instead...oh and my sister's friends are all getting together to see one of their bands and I've been invited to that - but, yeah...Zombicorns by John Green is winning in my head right now.
7. Dog person or cat person?
Neither because I'm allergic and I don't want to be responsible for someone's life anyway....but, that being said, I grew up with cats, so I'm probably a cat person. Though, to be fair, I've always wanted a bird...no one ever talks about being a bird person. I'm a bird bird. :P
8. If you had to change your name, what would you change it to?
I LOVE my name. It pretty much self-describes 90% of my personality. My friends actually use my name as a descriptor - like people do with the Doctor on Doctor Who. I'm pretty sure changing it would cause some sort of rift in the space-time continuum. That being said, I've always liked the name Aidan (or Aodhan if you want to get all traditional).
9. What was the last thing you bought?
Dinner last night. Last none consumable thing I bought was some eyeshadow applicators at the drug store...before that was a new adapter for my broken lamp (didn't work, lamp is still broken)...before that was the beads for the abacus bracelet that I'm going to make today...
10. Favorite band/musician?
I like a LOT of bands and musicians. Hey Rosetta! is the obvious answer here, I suppose.
11. Favorite book?
From my days of reading depressing Canadian fiction: No Great Mischief by Alastair MacLeod, and For Those Who Hunt The Wounded Down by David Adams Richards.
12. What are you doing this weekend?
Well, there's only about a half day of it left, but let's see...yesterday I finished posting If Clothes Could Talk, started working on a two pages for the SuperWiki, cleaned half of my room, read the first 6 chapters of Zombicorns by John Green, and then watched two episodes of Community. Today, I want to finish the pages for SuperWiki, clean the other half of my room, find tweets from Paleyfest, make an abacus bracelet with my knitting group, maybe start writing something, and possibly read more of Zombicorns and watch more Community....my sister also invited me out with her and her friends, but I think I might put that on a lower priority than everything else, because I'm broke and everything else on my list of things to do doesn't cost me any money.
13. If you could play any musical instrument, which one would you play?
I do play a musical instrument. I studied the violin/fiddle from age 6 to 13. I played the tenor saxophone from age 15 up, though I didn't bring it with me to Vancouver. I suppose if I learned another instrument, it'd be something I could sing along to, like the guitar...just to be ordinary.
14. How are you?
*shrug* I have the same problems as always really, but I try not to dwell. Overall, I'm happy with life.
15.What are you doing tomorrow?
Work *infinite sad faces forever*
16.What are you looking forward to the most?
Supernatural returning? Haha...actually, in April I start implementing my plan to leave my job and eventually end up doing something better...so, I'm looking forward to that working out (because I really hope it does). Beyond that, I've got a friend visiting in April and another moving here...and then beyond that, I'm going back to Ontario for a month in July/August to visit my family there.

Ok, that's it! Enjoy...I've got a crap load of stuff to do now...thanks for reminding me, MEME QUESTIONS!
