Yeah, see... there is no way in HELL that a series would be allowed to air as three 90-minute episodes. That would automatically be a TV movie of the week, which would be an 'event', but would not be a 'series episode'.
Also, if you're an American 'star' in a TV series, it is expected that interests outside that would be limited to 'breaks' or the summer. [And, you couldn't do anything too controversial because it might impact on your series, which you've committed to].
[It's 4:24 am here - I'm in Michigan, but I think that is in my profile] - But since it is a Saturday night, I can stay up all night... plus being a chronic insomniac helps.
