No it's not wrong that you're glad I feel your pain :) and yeah it's so awkward and I find myself forgetting there are other people there...I haven't tried to write Castiel (it's a HS AU before Cas so I don't have to try thank God). I can see him being really difficult to write especially because so much of his "dialogue" is physical I imagine it would be like trying to narrate physical comedy...congrats to you for pulling it off :)
