I'm planning to see the movie tomorrow - so, baring any unforeseen disasters, I should be writing a mini-review tomorrow night! I'm sure they'll do a fine job.
And yes, I agree about the bathroom scene in the 6th book. Sometimes I really wonder at the changes they make - personally, I think the spells they use are a reflection of character, and so when they change them, it's like they're changing the character - which is not good. Case and point, in the second movie, they actually have Lucius begin to say the AK at Harry - in the book he never did that, and I feel as though, for all Lucius IS horrible, it means something that he DIDN'T try to outright kill a 12 year-old in broad daylight. But hey, that's just me.
I'm with you (obviously) on the idea that Draco should get a second chance in life, and that it's possible for him to reform and Harry and he to form a tentative friendship - I'm hoping that possibility is conveyed in the movies as well as it was in the books...it's what I've kind of rolled with for this story, obviously :P
