Oh, I'm glad to hear that they did that opening scene with Charity well - or at least well enough to enforce how horrible it was for Draco. I haven't seen the movie yet, but I saw a clip of the moment where Harry disarms Draco later, and I didn't feel like they had done a good job on it...but you know, that's probably me being horribly picky. It doesn't help that I absolutely love Draco's development in the final book...even though we see precious little of it in the book itself.
Of course, this isn't a criticism on Tom Felton at all, I think he's a wonderful actor - just on the direction. I would have lingered just a little bit more in silence than the director they have seems to. It's amazing what two more seconds of silence can do for a scene. But again, I haven't seen the movie, this is just a critique on the little clip I saw (and the last film, which he also directed.) Though, I'm not a director, am I? So who am I to judge really.
