I've always been fascinated by the "evil" characters in books...what made them that way, what their logical process is...
Did you watch "Slumdog Millionair"? I watched it and it was ok, but I kept thinking: why didn't they do more with the brother? He is MUCH more interesting than the smitten main-character.
So I totally get where you're coming from, though it is a rather new development in my character. Nowadays I watch a movie and I think: why does that person do what he does? What motivates him, what made him into that? Well, if it is a good movie ;-) I don't bother with James-Bond or Die Hard - type-movies :-D
