The Sequel: So much talking!

Oh man, I've got four chapters, but there is SO MUCH TALKING. Do you people seriously don't mind if there is chapters upon chapters of talking with no action to speak of? Because, umm...that's what you are getting.

I really hope this doesn't suck. It's easy to write and I'm enjoying writing it...but, yeah...it's harder to introduce the action this time, because I'm not starting with a big dramatic event like I did with the first one.

Yay! That's good to know, because the plot is much slower to develop in this one, and I try as I might I can't hurry it along.

seriously, don't feel like you have to hurry anything along, a good slow intro is good, even with sequels, although now i'm going to have to read your demented verse in anticipation. :)

One of the things that I really loved about Damned Demented Demons was that you always made your "talking" scenes interesting. You have a knack of infusing all your scenes with tension -- even when the only action is chatting.

I think dialogue moves as story as well as doing things. As long as the discussion is interesting and forwards your plot, I believe you have little to worry about.

Well, *I* think it's interesting. Not sure all of it moves the plot though...

Maybe you'll just have to critique me when I post it. The plot WILL pick up speed - a lot of it - by the end, it's just about getting there. This plot unfolds much slower than the last one.
