Officially Unemployed!

My last day of work was yesterday. I am now officially unemployed.

This is a good thing, because I really couldn't stand my job anymore - either it had to go, or I did, basically. There's only so long that you can deal with both monotony AND crimes against humanity, and I drew the line at five years.

Now, the last time I tried to find a different job, it didn't work out so well and I had to go crawling back. Going crawling back isn't an option this time, so hopefully I find something else.

In the meantime, while I'm unemployed, I should HOPEFULLY have plenty of time to do a S8 rewatch and write things.

If anyone has any job leads in the Vancouver area (or the South/Eastern Ontario area, or the Montreal area, or the Germany area) let me know! From experience, it helps if you are the one actually doing the hiring and can give me an unfair advantage in the application/interview process. Nepotism is a huge problem in Canada and quite frankly, if you can't beat them, join them.

What are my qualifications? I can do anything. Unfortunately, this isn't reflected on my resume, so you'll have to take my word for it.

"The Germany area..." Lol! Surely economy is doing quite well over here and with Angie in power another 4 years hopefully it stays like that for a bit :)

Sadly I'm in no position to hire you for anything :( Unless you want to temp as a cleaner at a trade fair in the Ruhr area, in wich case my husband might be able to find something for you...

Oo, the Ruhr area... I went there for a guitar concert once.

That being said, yeah... not sure I'd be the best cleaner. I might try to find something else in Canada first. ;)

I wouldn't know the first thing about work-visa rules anyway, I just figured I'd through that out there. I haven't spoken German very much in the past 10 years, and I feel like I've lost a lot of it (or all of it) - but I always did dream of maybe living there one day. :)
