Uh, sorry I haven't been around?
I just want to make a blanket apology for anyone waiting for me to work on or post something... I've been slacking off HORRIBLY this month... really to a ridiculous degree.
I'm planning to force myself to be more productive in June, so hopefully that'll change.
At the beginning of May they switched me to another project at work. It's a project I've been on before and I absolutely hate it. It's basically the worst. So, in order to not be depressed about that, I decided to go on a Teen Wolf fanfiction binge... and yeah, I'm still deep into that. Again, to a ridiculous degree.
New fandoms are a bit like drugs to me, in that once I start reading, I tend to not want to do anything else ever...and any time that I'm not reading, I'm thinking about reading. So, yeah, I haven't really had the mental capacity to switch back to SPN mode and think about fics that I said I'd write or resource projects that I should be working on, because ALL MY FREE TIME is spent on my fanfic addition.
On top of the stupid work project that bums me out and leads me to a life of "drugs"... my upstairs neighbour has decided to stop being considerate to anyone else in the world. She's currently being evicted, but still has another month (at least) before she's moving out - so until that happens, I'm trying to sleep through pretty much 24/7 partying by people who seemingly NEVER SLEEP. Needless to say, I've been having trouble getting any real rest, which kind of leads me mentally incapable of doing anything else BESIDES reading Teen Wolf fanfic... or maybe that's just my excuse.
Anyway, like I said, I'm hoping to turn things around in June. I've got a new novel idea and I want to write that "Sassy" fic. I also kind of want to write a Merlin reunion slash fic...but we'll see if that ever happens.
So yeah, I'm still alive - I just have a crappy job and a fanfic addition problem. :P

I guess the good news about the neighbours is that they haven't gotten any WORSE since being served the eviction notice - I was worried about that. But I'll be very happy when they move out. I'm crossing my fingers that whoever moves in will, at the very least, have better taste in music. ;)
