Timeline stuff

Thank goodness for other people's ability to cap episodes...according to this post by muridae_x Free to Be You and Me takes place during the week of August 23rd. I'm not sure how that meshes with the Captions...but that would indicate that Sam and Dean actually spend 3 months apart, and Fallen Idol actually brought them into September, rather than my original calculation of July.

Interesting...part of me really wants to timeline this season as it happens...because sometimes dates on laptops (or x-rays, as the linked post points out) can just be flat wrong.

It would make a certain amount of sense though- the three months apart - it puts a slightly different spin on their relationship in those episodes. Although if intentional, it'd be nice if they'd actually done something to indicate it, story-wise.

Though I guess this means it might not necessarily be so hard to fit your potential sequel in with a december timeline... :::whistles innocently:::

Haha...hmm...I'm getting the strange feeling that you are hoping for something in particular... :-P

But yeah, it's hard to know what facts to believe. By the captions on 5x03, it would seem to indicate that it'd only been a week or so since they split up...but it would actually make more sense in terms of character-development if they had been apart for 3 months...

I might just have to wait to see if there are any dates in the next few episodes and what they could possibly support.
