Sam's Tiny Grey and White Plaid

Sam's Tiny Grey and White Plaid

This is shirt with a very fine plaid on it. It’s grey, with tiny white plaid. It has two breast pockets with flaps.

APPEARANCES:

In The Werther Project (10x19), Sam wears this shirt to investigate the house in St. Louis that contains the Werther Box. He wears it until they leave St. Louis.

Another non-blue shirt, but another shirt that is more pastel, which just goes to justify more and more my statement about how they seem to put Sam in more pastel colors and Dean in the darker, more dramatic colors.

I'd agree with that. Sam also tends to wear "busy" clothing - more intricate plaids, brighter, louder colours... whereas when Dean wears plaids, they tend to be simpler and darker colours (with the exception of his orange and blue plaid, which is pretty damn loud.)

The thought hadn't occurred to me that Sam's plaid shirts were busier. That's a good point. I'll take note as I watch the episodes.

Dean's are definitely darker, louder, more dramatic.

The style and color of shirts really do fit the character, don't they.
