When the madness began...

Some of you who have commented on If Clothes Could Talk have noted that I must be slightly crazy. I usually respond with an anecdote about how I really like to organize information...and have been doing so ever since I was a kid.

Well, now I have proof. My mum has been going through some old files, and she found an excel spreadsheet I made when I had just turned 13. It's an inventory of all of my stuffed toys (I had quite a lot).

Here is a snapshot of it (with spelling mistakes preserved):

And yes, I had a Leopard named Cheetah.

I'm actually REALLY glad I made this at that time, because I wouldn't remember the dates these days. So, I'm quite proud of myself for recording this seemingly useless information before I forgot it. :P

That's too funny. I also like to categorize things, but I don't think I ever went as far as to organize by stuffed animals. Of course, I never really had a lot of stuffed ones, so there is that. But I have listed out my CDs, DVDs, vinyls, I even categorizing my jewelry. So yea, I totally get the need for inventory listing.

This is seriously one of the cutest things I've ever seen.

It is so comforting to know that I am not the only one who does that. (or did that). I have lists upon lists of things. Thank you for sharing.

Adorable!!

I had a lot of dolls growing up but I'm too lazy to name them. That seems to be the trend for me LOL

Well, you skill at cataloging Sam and Dean's shirts is now completely understandable!

I grin at the kid you must have been/still are :)

I love it, especially the aptly named Rooster and Red the lobster. Really, this is just doggone adorable. I bet I've got a pretty similar unicorn of about the same vintage named Galahad. Did you hang on to them? I think mine are mostly in a box somewhere in our understairs storage.

That is adorable. <3

I made analysis charts more so than cataloguing, but there's probably a common element in there somewhere.

I think Frogee Frogee Flop Flop is my favorite. :D
