There's a fic in here somewhere...

I have to read historical documents for my job - these historical documents tend to be from or about certain schools during the 1900s. Usually, it's just bland attendance lists and financial record keeping...occasionally though, I'll come across something that puts a human touch on everything (whether this is a good or bad thing when it comes to my job is up for debate.)

Today, there's a child's drawing from a nursery/kindergarten.

It's a giant scribble - like you usually see from children, where only they know what the drawing depicts. Then, in carefully printed letters, it says:

Name: [The child's name, which I can't share for security reasons]
Ambition: To be a "Monster."

You go, kid.

That's totally something a five-year-old Dean might do.... :)

That's totally something 5 y-o me would have done. Actually, I remember telling my kindergarten teacher in very clear terms that I was planning on being a kangaroo one day and then fighting her tooth and nail when she tried to explain that I had to pick a human profession.

I couldn't help but think of the show ;)

That is simultaneously both hilarious and frightening. But I can definitely see a mischievous weechester doing something like this. ;D

It's too precious.

It's even more frightening when you know why I'm researching the schools :P ...but oddly, I like it anyway.
