According to the latest news....CW is postponing the mid-season premiere of Supernatural so that they can play Vampire Diaries and Nikita on Friday instead. 

I think my icon says it all.

And since Sam has had his say in icon form,  Dean would like to weigh in...

The BuddyTV story I've seen on the Smallville thing is dated Jan. 13, so I doubt that's the reason. And now that last night's numbers *are* in, it looks like the delay was for naught--it was the highest rated Thursday of the season. *headdesk*

Not surprised it wasn't Smallville...it did sound a bit like wild-speculation.

I can only hope there are some repercussions for the network that don't injure our beloved show.
