After reading the S5 companion book, I don't think Sam fished it out of the trash either. It sounds to me like Jensen's happy it's gone, so I highly doubt it'll ever make a reappearance around Dean's neck. Plus, I think if it were going to, it would have happened by now.
I might add accessories to the clothing series...we'll see. If I do a post a day for the next 18 days or so, then I'll be done all the clothes from S1-S5...and then I'll have all summer with nothing to do :P
Plus, it'd be pretty easy, because I would just have to find the episode each piece of jewelry disappeared in.
