Fun Caps

So, in my spare time (what spare time?) I've been working on a time-consuming, most-likely-pointless, very fun Supernatural project. Similar to when I decided to make my timeline, it means that I have to watch the episodes again from the beginning - this time however, instead of just making notes, I get to make screencaps as well.

Sometimes I happen to hit pause at just the right time, and catch hilarious pictures. So, I thought I would share my two favorites from what I've done this past week:




Sam was just liking his lips, but press pause at the right moment, and it looks like he's intensely waiting to stick his tongue out at Dean.

And man...Jared was so LITTLE and skinny. It's astonishing. Jensen was little too, mind you...but you really notice it on Jared.

Haha, indeed! I've never done much screencapping before. It's really hard to get the exact moment you want! Still, these happy accidents totally make up for it.

Can't beat that 1st one...Sam already looks pissy and Dean has that exaggerated angry frown...it's a lovely Winchester moment ;-)

Ah, well you can go frame by frame with the newest version of VLC. I've been using it a lot on the PC with the capping I've been doing of Seasons 2 & 3. ;) You just hit the E key and use Shift + the left arrow key if you need to jump back a bit.

DUDE! THANK YOU! Man, that makes this SO MUCH EASIER! Geez...I knew there had to be an option like that somewhere, but I couldn't find it. I guess I was too used to my old player, where all you had to do was hit fastforward or rewind while paused to go frame by frame.

I usually use the spacebar to quickly play & pause the video while I'm capping, but sometimes I do go frame by frame (like during action scenes, fight scenes, etc.).
