I agree with almost everything you said here. It was a very disappointing episode, but I knew it was going to be after seeing the writers' names on screen. I really wanted more grief from Dean about Cas. I know you liked the part where we had the flashbacks to how clever the boys were in defeating God but that seemed like a cheap ploy to me. I really think the writers did a poor job of setting up the whole "let's kill God!" thing. Oh, well. I am curious about next week but I'm afraid it will just end up disappointing me more. :-(
