Thank you so much for this, what an enjoyable read! This is one of my favorite episodes ever - it's bittersweet for me now, because it's Robbie's last episode and I will miss the way he writes Sam and Dean until the end of time. I'll never be over it. The depth to this episode, the dialogue, the emotionality, the humor, the meta and the inside references - I don't think we'll ever get all that from this show again now that Robbie is gone. Not that i won't still love it, but his episodes were amazing.

He did intend that Sam had the amulet all along, btw. It was in the script, which some fan actually has now. But I interpreted it that way anyway :)

Now the next episode? Oh dear.
