"ones of my least favourite ones" Really? REALLY? :)
Ok, I'm back now. Before I read your QR - the casting in this episode is amazing! Not just the teen!Dean, but also the teen!Tina - she really does look like the older actress and act like the same person. And she's overall awesome and likeable, IMO. And teen!Dean, too - I almost didn't miss the regular Dean.
ETA: And then I read that you didn't find the Tinas all that similar :)
Re: Oh, but before I forget - I want to say that I actually liked the joke about the bathroom being like devil's asshole... and Sam saying "I saw it" and Dean saying "the bathroom or....?"
As I said before - I found the episode really funny. I have to rematch it ASAP - lots of great jokes. Go Adam Glass! (I need to check if I found any of his other episodes interesting, too.)
Re: So, we return... and okay, does anyone else find it creepy that Dean is in different clothes? I mean, I understand why it's necessary, because his grown-up clothes wouldn't fit him... but that means that he was taken naked and dressed by Hansel...and yeah... creepy. Same goes for Tina.
Yeah, but after Dean got changed back, it didn't look like he was wearing skinny jeans - the clothes just magically were the right size. I suppose leaving the original clothes behind was the easiest way to give a clue that the person was missing. Laziness on the part of Glass & Co, I suppose :)
Re: I LOVE the scene where Dean gets back to the motel - and Sam doesn't recognize him at first... and then when he does, he just stands there with that freaked-out Sam face... and it's awesome.
Ditto. Sam's face was priceless!
Re: It's a great talk... I loved the humour of Dean going through puberty again, and Sam not really wanting to hear about it... and the fact that Dean heard a Taylor Swift song and liked it, like that's even worse than the spontaneous erection problem.
My only beef with that monologue about the joys of puberty was that Dean said he had 'like 9 zits', but there weren't any. Which... thank god, but I was so jealous!!! :) It's like size 0 girls complaining "OMG, I'm so fat!"
Re: But, the more serious matter is the fact that Dean, as a 14 year old, does not have the Mark of Cain... and this might be their answer - don't change Dean back, leave him a a 14 year-old and have him grow up again. He'll be half Sam's age instead of his older brother, but yet, still his older brother.
I liked how they added a joke about virgin liver and Dean having to wait for about 7 years before he can drink legally. Otherwise that whole talk would have been waaaay to angsty.

Re: I am also 14 apparently
I'm secretly 12. Nice to meet you!
