I'm wondering.. how do you feel about crossovers.. and have you ever watched Stargate SG1/Stargate Atlantis? I know a really great damaged Bucky slowly recovering, with bro love from Steve - not slash, just Steve worried about/loving his best friend. It has a het relationship in it... and a huge gigantic background story crossover. It's probably one of my favorite story series ever and I just love to recommend it every chance I get. It starts with a Natasha story that ends up adding everyone else until you get to a fic where it becomes a Winter Soldier fic.
