Got very lucky, he's now been in remission for a year and a half. They cut out his whole thyroid though. And I'm so glad he finally got himself checked out, we got it right in time from what I can tell.

Buffy - that's okay, nobody's perfect ;)

I will say that I think Buffy was an excellent show and I really appreciate the writing and everything it did for geek/nerd culture and good leading female characters and such... it just was an excellent show that wasn't my cup of tea. :)
