I know I must sound like a broken record, but they could've done the same thing with Men of Letters. They didn't necessary have to set the show in the past...maybe they went underground...are in high school...the descendents...etc...

See, and this is where we get into "they can't please everyone" territory, because that sounds like a terrible idea to me, absolutely chalk full of problems and we'd be watching it the entire time wondering why the Winchesters weren't getting involved.

So, we're just going to have to agree to disagree on this one. :P
