I know I must sound like a broken record, but they could've done the same thing with Men of Letters. They didn't necessary have to set the show in the past...maybe they went underground...are in high school...the descendents...etc...

At least it would be set in the real SPN world and wouldn't feel fake. I will, much like you, give it a go. Maybe it will be good.

SPN always gets very intense with me...the good and the bad...no other show manages to engage me that much! LOL.
