Timelines on the SuperWiki

WOOT!

I have just spent the past two weeks updating all the timelines on the SuperWiki!

The wiki only had Preseries, S1-S2, and the Mythology Timeline before - and most of those were inaccurate to the point where I couldn't look at them without becoming enraged. So, I got permission to create new pages and change the wrong things and now EVERYTHING IS GLORIOUS (and accurate).

Actually, in the process of updating the SuperWiki, I realized that I could actually figure out a few dates that I had marked down as "Unknown" before! So, temporarily, the SuperWiki timelines are now MORE accurate than the versions that I have on this LJ. That'll change in the next few days, though, as I update things over here to match.

The SuperWiki's Mythology Timeline still only goes up until the end of S5, but I am TIRED, guys... so updating it past then will have to wait for another time... or possibly someone else to do it. In the meantime, if you want to figure out when a particular even in the myth-arc takes place, you can just go to the timeline for the appropriate season. I also left the table that the SuperWiki had for the pre-series timeline, because I liked the way it colour-coded certain information, and I just added events that were missing... though, not all of them, because I learned that editing tables on Wikis is really really annoying, so I just did what I thought were the necessary additions.

Thank you for the details you put into the time line and for fixing a timeline that was not correct.

Your help in this is greatly appreciated and valued. I'm sure that when you have time you will do fine for the other timelines.

Did you also put the preseries dates in your time line - I just love the information that you have figured out for the timeline and all the details that go along with it.

I updated the pre-series timeline a little bit, but the pre-series timeline that I have here on LJ still has some information on it that the SuperWiki doesn't (mainly Anna Milton's and Amelia Richardson's birthdays... I just decided they weren't THAT important.) Likewise, the SuperWiki pre-series timeline has some information that my timeline doesn't, because it also includes events from the official tie-in sources (comics, novels, etc) that I don't personally consider to be "canon'.

I can understand that you don't use the books as Canon. Still thank you for taking the time and getting the permission necessary to fix the timeline they have on the wiki site. I like the site too for information and it's great having the information accurate too! (or as accurate you can get it from the info that the show gives).

Yeah, the Wiki is only as accurate as we (the users) make it! So I try to do my part. I've also become a bit more paranoid about it being correct over the past year, when I find out that the writers/production sometimes consult it when they're in a pinch!
