Completely agree about the killing thing... I mean, it's one thing when it fits into a foreshadowed theme you have going: ie, S3's "Sam cannot save anyone."...but it's another thingn entirely when it undermines the message you're trying to convey. Especially in a show where in the famous line about what they do, "saving people" is actually the first on the list. :P

it makes kids into a bad thing, which I don't think they are. hard work, sure, but not something that should be compared to a poke in the eye with a sharp stick.
