Oh man, yeah, just goes to show that single childless people can be assholes too. :P I mean, I was raised by a single mum who had to juggle four kids and a full-time+ job while being on my elementary school's equivalent of the PTA... and I recognize that maybe the grocery store lady was trying to make me feel better in a weird way, like "hey, could be worse!" but instead it just came across as "your problems don't matter as much as mine do."

yay! I was kind of afraid it was going to be, "and then, through misunderstanding, someone killed her" because that would be boring and predictable and a cop out.

Yeah, I'm really happy they kept the continuity of the cure, and successfully saved someone. I think they really needed that to drive home the fact that hunting wasn't just about revenge and killing - it's about saving people.
