Thank you so much! You're very kind and I'm glad you liked it. And you noticed my word tricks! Yay! :)
I'm especially glad you like the ending, because I struggled with that quite a bit. (Endings are hard!)
It was as if they're in this little world of theirs where no outsiders could intrude, cause no one else could understand them better then themselves, and they're all that each other have, in a sense.
Yes...after I wrote the first story in this 'verse, I started to wonder how they got to that stage. How it would actually work - with personalities as different as Mycroft, Sherlock, and Merlin... and well, yes, this is the result of all that thinking. How the brothers kind of influence each other in such a way that it creates these different personalities, with Mycroft at one extreme, Merlin at the other, and Sherlock an odd tangled mix of the two. But because they've all got pieces of each other, they're the only ones who understand how those piece fit together and why they are the way they are.
It would be really interesting if Merlin did start a killing spree for Sherlock's amusement though xD
Haha, I was half-tempted, let me tell you. ;) What I love about Merlin is the fact that he seems to be the most well adjusted, but he's still got a sort of slippery morality. But he recognizes that, which is why he ties himself to Arthur's better morals in the end.
Anyway, beautiful writing, loved it! Would you be writing more stuff in this universe, please? ;)
I'd love to. I've got some ideas for other stuff in the past - like Freya and Will, do they live or die? Or how do Uther, Gaius, and Kilgarrah fit into this 'verse? But those are mostly Merlin stories... so, yeah, not sure. My official stance is that I'm going to wait until Sherlock S3 airs, and then see if it gives me any ideas. :) I like to stay as canon as possible, so I'd really like to know how Sherlock comes back and what happens next before I write any more.
