Okay, I'm starting over because I'm tired and I don't think I really said what I meant the right way the first time.

Anyway, here goes:

Just because you think it's sexy...and it was definitely filmed that way... doesn't also mean it's automatically okay. There are a lot of things that people find sexy that are problematic on a larger social level, making them fair game for criticism.

If there's one thing that fandom has taught me, is that there are a lot of kinks for things that we would all agree are bad when wer're not talking pure fantasy. Rape fantasies are common, but it'd be silly to suggest we can't talk about depictions of rape in general culture items (like a tv show on network television) as problematic just because rape fantasies exist.
