Great story. I really enjoyed reading it and especially loved that you didn't just have Sam come back to normal with maybe a few nightmares. The whole coming back slowly, his whole inability to cope with the two sets of memories, to differentiate between reality and nightmare made it more real. I could see Sam being locked into his own head for a while, trying to figure out what is going on. It would be terrible to deal with what happened in hell and the reality of what he did while on earth without his soul. And Cas giving him the ability to cope and heal is like a doctor giving some medicine or cutting out something that blocks the healing process. I also really appreciated Dean's patience and his just being the big brother and doing whatever it took, no matter what it was. I missed this so much and it was awesome to see the real Dean again. So yes, I thought this was excellent. Thanks for sharing. Hugs, Vonnie
