It's tricky to work for the future but also enjoy the present. I guess you have to think about it like walking: You have to keep your eye on the horizon, as well as on the ground in front of you. If you look at your feet the whole time, you won't stumble, but you'll also wander around aimlessly without any clue as to where you are going. If you look at the horizon the whole time, you'll know exactly where you are going, but you'll step in a rabbit hole and twist your ankle, or catch your foot on a rock and fall flat on your face.
