The funniest little instance of location pedantry for me was actually in some random episode of Sliders I saw once,which also had been filmed in Vancouver. So they had a hill with San Francisco-esque houses, it was passable....except that there was snow on the ground. Which was kind of funny, because with reality-hopping, sure, that could be part of it....except that went totally unremarked. (Whereas in reality, no matter how many women there were with mustaches or naked people or whatever running around, most people would be going, "holy shit, snow!)
