I agree about Dean's year with Lisa and Ben being important - mainly because the way Dean saw it (and maybe the way Sam saw it too) that promise was Sam's dying wish...I think it would have been really insulting if Dean made Sam believe that he never even tried.

It's a good thing I don't live in Misha's neighbourhood. I'd probably get wires crossed in my brain and tackle hug him in the street because I really think Cas needs a hug now :P
