Re the anti-muggle charms...it reminded me of when my mum was sick and the drugs they had her on gave her really weird dreams (and she'd speak in her sleep) and delusions. And we'd laugh because it was so funny (remember her mumbling about needing to chop the lettuce...Dad and I just looked at each other and burst out laughing) but you'd feel bad at the same time because she was so sick. But then, when everything is crap, if you can't keep at least a bit of a sense of humour, then you're just going to be fully depressed all the time. Survival technique, I think.

Hee-hee...yes, I am catching up on your story (though still way behind on some others). I'd been really sick and had about a week where my headaches were so bad that pretty much all I did was watch TV/DVDs - really doesn't help when you're trying to keep up with stories ;-)
