Okay, just to totally confuse you with my various reviews and replies ;-) - I was going to put this at the start of my review for chapter 25, but it was getting sooo long, I decided to put this part here where it actually fit!
I just saw the HP7 movie and while I was watching the opening scene I was thinking about your story and the death echo of Charity and it just reinforced what a truly horrific experience it would have been for Draco to have to relive that memory. He looked so very young and completely terrified in the movie, especially during the opening scene.
I wished we'd seen a bit more of him in the later Manor scene though (like how had Wormtail collecting Griphook, instead of Draco - sometimes I don't know why they make certain changes in films!).
